Charleston resident Lucy Metter has penned a children’s book titled “Treasures of the Tide,” published by Elyon Books and available as a $17.99 hardcover.
The picture book, illustrated by Nathaniel Eckstrom, tells the story of a boy whose passion for shell hunting and boundless curiosity connects him with his departed father, who also loved searching for the ocean’s hidden treasures. It’s a lyrical exploration of natural wonder, beauty and family — and a reminder that the people we love never really leave us.
